What are Heritage Expeditions’s most popular activities?

The most popular activities for Heritage cruisers varies by destination, but all are focused on exploring the destinations visited. For instance, in Antarctica, passengers look forward to visiting the huts and research stations of historic Antarctic explorers as well as heading out on Zodiacs to see seals and penguins. In Melanesia, in demand options include snorkeling and calling on remote and rarely visited villages to experience the traditional lifestyle and ceremonies of the local people. For birders, the birding-themed tours are particularly popular.

Onboard, most cruisers attend the program of lectures provided by botanists, historians and other experts.
