Not a good value bc of the food!

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seven Seas Explorer

10+ Cruises • Age 48s

This cruise was quite the disappointment. The disappointment was mainly rooted in the cuisine however the lack of attention to this portion is prevalent throughout their onboard service culture. 1. Embarkation - Very easy, smooth, and fast. We took an Uber from Anchorage to Seward (beautiful drive - 2.5 hours) and were dropped off right at the luggage depot. The porters took our luggage and ...

Exceeded expectations!!!

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Evrima (Ritz-Carlton)

10+ Cruises • Age 78s

We were concerned about taking this cruise, because of the previous reviews; but we were so happy that we cruised with Ritz! The itinerary, staff, food and ship was one of our very best experiences! We met so many great couples who were out to have fun and experience a cruise, and everyone we spoke with loved it! I’m not sure how anyone could not have had a very good cruise. They even ...

First time Regent Cruisers

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Seven Seas Splendor

2-5 Cruises • Age 71s

First time Regent cruise for us. Likes; the business class air inclusion, the ship's small size, the included excursions, drinks and wine, entertainment, etc. None of the constant upselling you get on a larger ship. The Splendor was very clean and well kept, staff were extremely nice and polite. Other passengers on the cruise were nice and friendly. Did not have that "cattle call" feel of the ...

Outstanding Service, Food needs improvement

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Silver Spirit

10+ Cruises • Age 60s

This was our third Silversea cruise and 23th cruise overall. We sailed on 12 different lines, including Crystal, Oceania, Azamara and more. Overall, it was a great cruise. We felt that the service was outstanding and actually improved compared to our previous SS sailings. This applied especially to breakfast and lunch buffet at La Terazza, but also in other venues. Embarkation: very smooth ...

Viking Jupiter: Istanbul to Venice

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Viking Jupiter

10+ Cruises • Age 74s

Like all Viking ships, there is little room for improvement. The ships are spacious, very well appointed with a quiet Norwegian style. We opted for a Deluxe Veranda Stateroom which while not large was adequate. Staff was generally friendly and capable with a few exceptions. A few critiques: As my wife and I do not eat meat, dining options were limited. While there are always vegetarian ...

A gorgeous ship whose staff still leave me wanting

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Le Lyrial (Ponant)

Belgian cruiser1
10+ Cruises • Age 61s

Ponant is still sort of a double-edged sword. The ships look sleek (and Le Lyrial is gorgeous to look at while it's waiting for you in a Scottish Loch) and go where others cannot, but the service always misses something that makes you wonder while they can't get some basic things fixed (getting your glass refilled with water during dinner has been an issue for years, and figuring out how much you ...

Not the best food at sea

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Regatta

10+ Cruises • Age 72s

Despite Oceania claiming to be the best food at sea, sadly it is not. Lukewarm food on cold plates spoils the finest of cuisines. Like all cruise lines, the ship is spotless, the service is good and almost all crew very pleasant. Officers are conspicuous by their absence and safety does not seem to be their primary concern. An issue with mobility scooters was most poorly handled when lack of ...

Beautiful way to experience Alaska

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Regatta

2-5 Cruises • Age 65s

Crew was very friendly and experienced. Food was generally very good to excellent but sometimes served cold especially at breakfast. Our package included free beer and wine at lunch and dinner so we didn’t even use our bottles we brought on board. Cabins were clean and well kept. Stewards were very responsive to your needs or request. We had a fantastic Cruise Director that was extremely ...

Wonderful ship; great experience.

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Seven Seas Splendor

10+ Cruises • Age 69s

Great cruise. We loved the ship--by far the best of my ten cruises. The superior sute was extremenly spacious, with loads of storage. Even a walk-in closest! My only two minor nits--first, while I know the cruise line will not do anything to harm sales, it would have been good to know that four of our days, either on the cruise of immediately after, were holidays (Orhtodox East Sunday, ...

Exceeded our expectstions

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Seven Seas Splendor

Peter Shirley
10+ Cruises • Age 63s

The Splendor is the second newest ship in the fleet and only a few years old. The ship was immaculate and reeked of luxury throughout. Our cabin was a Concierge suite. The bathroom was awesome as was the walk in closet. WiFi worked throughout the ship the entire journey. Food was overall very good as was the service. The main dining room Compass Rose was the best. The Italian restaurant ...
