The waiting game

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Costa Fortuna

Growing old waiting
First Time Cruiser • Age 61s

Embarkation and disembarkation a total cluster of disaster. Instructions are not clear. If you have booked an excursion there is very little chance of making it on time. Food is not that good in the buffet, better in the dining rooms. Communication is very lacking and it’s a lot of waiting and waiting. Communication is so bad it warrants a repeat. Lots of waiting and it causes frustration. ...

Old ship in desperate need of refurbishment

Review for a Norwegian Fjords Cruise on Anthem of the Seas

6-10 Cruises • Age 47s

It’s a large ship full of gimmicks. Maiden voyage was in 2015, and it shows. In desperate need of updating. Don’t bother with the spa experience. The steam room is falling apart, the walls and ceiling literally coming down. This is also charged as an extra 130 dollar experience for the week. On voyager class , a proper sauna was included for free. Many of the lockers in the men’s changing room are ...

Don't waste your money!

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Ventura

10+ Cruises • Age 68s

Had read previous reviews about Norovirus but had hoped they had finally got rid of it. The first worrying sign was that our cabins weren't ready until 3.45pm. The library was also closed. Now for the drinks. I ordered a Pernod and lemonade. They don't have it on the ship so I ordered a Southern Comfort. Surprise surprise they don't sell that either. So water it was! Went to the Waterside buffet ...

Jeremy Kyle on water

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Ventura

First Time Cruiser • Age 42s

Our first ever cruise and will definitely be our last the food was not even the standard of a harvester and the best way to describe the whole experience was Jeremy Kyle on water we were kept awake every night by people in neighbouring cabins on the balcony shouting and playing music at 3am.The buffet was chaos and even the booked restaurants were not much better the food arrives literally 2-5 ...

Shyla Mammen
First Time Cruiser • Age 58s

Excellent service from Yogeshr room service satisfaction 100%.. very best room service. He made sure that I meet all my requirements while in the ship. Marineda did an excellent hair style on my hair. She took very care and transformed me into a beautiful look. I will give her 100% mark. Marie Diaule Phillppe also did an excellent job. Yadav & Mitafel are very good at Gym. I totally enjoyed the ...

Epic disastor

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

6-10 Cruises • Age 41s

When you watch on youtube they show you all things working and when you're on the ship totaly different water slides only one can be used due the other two are not safe to be used due work in progress on the chimneys, workers grinding, chipping + lots of dirt particles coming from the chimney. Bowling always getting stuck, one of the lines they told us its been over 1 year not working. Regarding ...

Love this cruise line!

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Magnifica

6-10 Cruises • Age 34s

My family and I have been on several cruise lines and this was one of the best! The food was amazing, zero complaints there. Always something different in the buffet. Dining had daily specials plus an everyday menu which was great! The servers are AMAZING!! WE LOVED ARMANDO!!! He was our server in the dining from the Philippines. He made us feel so comfortable and took really good care of us. ...

NCL Jade was a basic no frills ship.

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Jade

6-10 Cruises • Age 50s

Jade was a boring basic ship. Food was repetitive and mediocre. Pool/Lido area was just another uninteresting area to waste time. Music selection was ehh at best. Lines for drinks were way too long for a watered down concoction, and they became worse as the cruise days passed. Worst experiences: length of time it took to finally get access to room on day 1, the time it took to get on and off ...

Great ship, POOR RC excursion and transfers

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Explorer of the Seas

2-5 Cruises • Age 50s

So, short version. Cruise itself, staff, amenities, activities, food on this ship was excellent. Our family of 5 in two staterooms very much enjoyed the ports of call, and all the options that this ship offered. It was also not too big, but not too small, so it was the right fit for us on a body of water (Adriatic Sea) that was very calm and had appealing ports of call (Santorini, Athens, Bar ...

I wouldn’t recommend this ship specifically

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

First Time Cruiser • Age 29s

I don’t recommend going on this ship. I’d rather not go on a cruise all together than go on this ship. The thing that disappointed me the most was the fact that They wouldn’t let my toddler swim in the pool because she had a swim diaper on, and they say if they’re not fully potty trained they can’t go in the pool, but then failed to hold to other rules. They allowed drinking alcohol in the pool, ...
